Included in this resource:

✅ 2 rigorous non-fiction texts about Easter Island

✅ 20 task cards

✅ 1 poster with text-based essay vocabulary terms

✅ Directions to play Scoot and Scatter with the cards

✅ Answer sheets for the printable version

✅ Answer key

✅ Teacher's Guide for the digital version with directions and a link to the Google form

✅The vocabulary, prompt, texts, and task cards are all embedded into the form for the digital version

✅ Digital version is self-checking!

For the Printable Version: Students read the two texts and then use these cards to practice with the concepts. You can do this in many ways, but my two favorites are playing Scoot and Scatter. (Directions for both are included).

For the DIGITAL Version: Students enter their names. Then they are shown the vocabulary to review. Next, they will read the prompt and the two texts. Finally, they use these digital task cards to practice the concepts. It's in a Google form so it's self-checking! The link is easy to share on any Learning Management System like Google Classroom, Canvas, or any others!

Your students will love that this gets them actively involved and you will love that they are practicing and learning these valuable skills with less work for you!
